WHO AM I?
My name is Sam Godber, and I am a freelance animator/graphic designer. I also produce content for YouTube under the channel name, TheSammyGShow. In 2023, I achieved a First Class Honours in Animation at the University of Gloucestershire. I specialise mainly in 2D animation and motion graphics but I have experimented with stop-motion animation, being my personal favourite form of animation. Most people would say that my greatest quality would be my strong work ethic, always looking to complete my work to the highest standard possible. On my YouTube channel, I create a variety of entertaining videos, including cooking tutorials, movie reviews, animated explainer videos and song covers. I like to experiment with what I do and am always seeking to try new things, eager to learn new styles and software. In my spare time, I am also an acting member of the Pershore Operatic and Dramatics Society, an amateur theatre group that puts on musical productions every June and December.

When Sam Godber, an animation student from the University of Gloucestershire, contacted me to ask if he could make a short film about Integrity’s work, I leapt at the chance. We worked together on a short script and Sam then created a snapshot that is light-hearted without being overly simplistic. Explaining his approach, Sam said, “I decided to get a visual idea of how I wanted to present the information in the script, making sure to illustrate it as professional yet easy to understand, like the clip art you find when you insert pictures in your Microsoft Word document”.I am delighted with the end result and I want to thank Sam for reaching out and giving his time to work with us.
